This database is provided by Municipal Code Corporation. Local government legislators may find ordinances passed by others in the U.S. that will be useful to them.

Municipal Codes

A listing of communities that have placed their municipal code on-line with General Code Publishers. A good place to do research. Most are NJ, NY and PA. Visit General Code Publishers via their ad in the NJ State League of Municipalities Municipal Products and Services web page

Municipal Codes contains land use information for over 900 municipalities, including all of New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington State.

NEW NJIT Center for Information Age Technology

Since 1983, CIAT has been the State-based computer consulting center. Their impartial, professional experts have helped NJ local government with technology projects and problems.
Public Affairs Research Institute of NJ

New Jersey Reporter On-line version of the magazine by the Center for Analysis of Public Affairs.
Planning Commissioners Journal Lots of information for Municipal Planners. Also useful articles for members of zoning and planning boards.

Small Cities An interactive newsletter for municipal decision makers in small cities affected by urban sprawl. Covers all aspects of municipal government. A worthwhile web site.
